Overview
The Shaun T. Riddick Sr. Foundation was established on January 25, 2021 by his surviving spouse, family members and friends. In order to enable extracurricular activity participation in rural Gates County, NC, the foundation mitigates financial challenges preventing youth from participating. This non-profit subsidizes Central Middle School Band instrument rentals, provides financial assistance to sports programs throughout the county, and awards scholarships for secondary education.

This organization is recognized by the Department of the Treasury Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) tax deductible public charity (EIN number 86-1642060). No board members receive a salary. All revenue is used for administrative or operational purposes.
